We’ve hit 16 attendees.

12 September 2007

Quarters were cramped this evening as the young people arrived early for prayer meeting.  Excluding Pat & the kids, we hit 2.5 times more than our current membership.

“14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.”
2 Chronicles 7:14, 15, KJV.

It’s 2 weeks to go before exams.  They were either

  1. Serious about praying because they were worried about exams.
  2. They really wanted to seek God in obedience.
  3. They just wanted to have a good time together.

All the above apply.  May God grant changed lives in obedience to His Calling.

God has been blessing us.

Since Mother’s day in Thailand, we’ve embarked on a series of messages dealing with the family:

How to be a good mother.

How to be a good father.

How to have a good marriage.

This past Sunday was on “Finding a Life Partner.”  God answered prayer in that P’Took’s son Toey, Gip’s husband Woot, May, a Payap student and P’Nat, Gade’s friend joined us for the first time.  Praise the Lord.
