Thankfulness and Being Grateful

Ps 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

As we approach the end of 2006, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect and be thankful to God for what has happened:

1. I’d like to thank God for the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the reason why we are here today. He is our Creator and Saviour.
2. I’d like to thank God for my family and my spouse.
3. Thank God for our good friends who are here today with us in this new church sanctuary.
4. Thank God for the young people [P’Gade, Ying, Koi, David and Nelson] who helped set up the meeting hall by laying the linoleum and laying out the chairs.
5. Thank God for the Vandenhautte family who have graciously allowed us to use this home for the church.
6. Thank God for Galilee BP Church and the Galileans who have come to support us today.
7. Thank God for our Thai friends who have come to encourage us.
8. Thank God for our Thai co-labourers who are labouring with us in this new church.
